| The Land of Enlightenment This work is representative of the spirit and wisdom of Reunion Island. My inspiration came from my experiences in Reunion, which has a strong sense of vitality and ancestral history. The land, itself, was cultivated both by nature and the people here. This process is a continual one. In order to represent the strong simplicity of the land, I chose the local material «Choca» which has a pure color - like light - which embraces this island - and a sinuous texture. |
